Course

This is a 3 day course constructed from MikroTik's training guide with the trainers own additional content. This course is formed on the latest revision released from MikroTik at the end of the European MuM Feb' 2016 and focusses on RouterOS version 6 only.

At the end of the 3rd day an exam maybe taken. Its duration is 1 hour. A certificate will be avialble if the passmark of 60% or greater is achieved. If you wish to continue with further courses and enter the recognised consultant scheme then 75% or greater will need to be gained.

Schedule

  • Day 1 - Arrive 8.30am Start 9am. Finish 5pm
  • Day 2 - Start 8.30am. Finish 5pm
  • Day 3 - Start 8.30am. Finish 5pm

A morning and afternoon break of 15 mins. Lunch break of 30mins at 12:30.

The exam (should you wish to take it) will be from 3pm onwards.

What to expect

  • Beverages during break times.
  • Light buffet during lunch.
  • Course manual.
  • Printed Certificate. (should you take and pass the exam).

What you will need to bring

  • A laptop with at least an ethernet socket and WiFi for network connections. Most of the labs require an ethernet connection to the laptop.
  • Please make sure you have an up to date and running version of 'winbox' on your laptop. Available from here MikroTik Download Page
  • If you plan to take the exam then a recognised form of photo I will be required to prove identity before taking the exam. Photo driving license, Passport & Natioanl photo ID cards are acceptable.

Accomodation

Accomodation is not included and will need to be arranged by yourself. We can recommend the local Travelodge and Premier Inn. If booked in advance it is possible to get rates as low as £35 per night.

Course 'small print'

Please note the following conditions of booking between Allness (We) and Student (You).

  1. We reserve the right to cancel the course due to insuffient numbers with full refund made available (We allow up to a maximum of 8 places per course. If less than 2 places are booked 21 days prior to course date, we will cancel)
  2. We reserve the right to cancel the course due to unavailable trainer with full refund made available
  3. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incured for transport or accomodation due to cancellation of courses.
  4. If payment via bank transfer has not been completed 8 days prior to course start date then your booking will be cancelled.
  5. Should you wish to cancel your booking with 14 or more days to course start date a full refund will be made. Less than 14 days but greater than 8 days to start date will be eligible for 50% refund. 7 day or less will forfiet any payment made.
